Dance Season 22/23 - are we ready?

Since I was a young dancer, I always felt as if my "new year" was in September, the beginning of the fall sessions. January 1 didn't hold as much excitement and anticipation as the first week of class after summer. As a dance teacher, I feel it even more so. I was brainstorming new ways to start the year and encourage my students to set goals for themselves. I also wanted to create a stronger bond among the dancers. I designed a 'getting to know you" sheet, that I am going to dedicate some class time to this week. I'm curious to see what happens with the classroom dynamics. The link to this page is in the feed.
